Ashlee Schoen - Facilitating Student-Centered Teaching
Ashlee Schoen is an educator and curriculum specialist with over two decades of experience in teaching, leadership development, and student engagement. With a background in both English and History education, Ashlee Schoen has built a career centered on fostering academic excellence, leadership skills, and meaningful learning experiences for students at the secondary school level.
From 2002 to 2023, Ashlee Schoen worked as a teacher at Warren Consolidated Schools. Throughout her tenure with Warren Consolidated Schools, she was committed to curriculum development and continuous improvement. She designed and implemented courses aligned with state and national standards, including contributing to the development of the 20th Century World History curriculum.
Her work extended beyond the classroom, as she regularly analyzed student performance data from standardized assessments such as the ACT, SAT, and NWEA. She used insights gained to refine instructional methods and improve student outcomes.
In 2025, Ms. Schoen joined Gabriel Richard Catholic High School as an English Teacher, where she continues to teach grades 10 through 12. In this role, she updates existing curricula, designs engaging lesson plans, and integrates technology tools such as Google Classroom, Forms, and Sheets to enhance student learning.
